Dynasty Trades Hot Sheet - June 2025
Chew gives trade advice for five of the most traded players in dynasty in June.
As we near the end of June there are really only two things to do: buy copious amounts of fireworks and make dynasty trades. So let’s fire off some trades that look like hoosker do’s and not like hoosker don’ts. For these trades I have taken the top five players in terms of trade volume per the Dynasty Daddy trade database. And since I believe that every player can be a buy or sell, I have two trades for each side that I endorse. Trades were based on the following settings:
Quarterbacks: 2 (Superflex)
Scoring Format: 1 (PPR)
Tight End Premium: 0-0.5
Team Count: 10-12
Starter Count: 8-11
*Players listed in order of trade volume (most-to-fewest).
JOSH DOWNS (WR)
Josh Downs has been a hot commodity on the dynasty trade market recently. There continues to be uncertainty at the quarterback position in Indianapolis and Downs has put together two productive seasons despite being the number two option. I was a huge fan of Downs coming out of UNC and if the Colts sort out their quarterback we could see Downs take a step forward in year three.
To Buy
Josh Downs + Chuba Hubbard + ‘26 2nd round pick ←→ Tyreek Hill + D’Andre Swift
Hill may have another top-end season in him and Swift is the RB-1 in Chicago for now, but the upside of Downs and stability of Hubbard and the 2nd is too much to pass up.
Josh Downs + ‘26 3rd round pick ←→ Jameson Williams
We are picking between secondary options and while Jamo’s quarterback situation is much less murky I would rather bet on Downs ascending and the lottery ticket of a 3rd.
To Sell
Josh Downs + Isaiah Likely ←→ Rashee Rice
As much as I like Downs, this is a great way to get a player in Rice that could very well have a top-12 fantasy finish in 2025 and beyond.
Josh Downs ←→ ‘26 2nd round pick + ‘27 2nd round pick
I would peg Downs’ value around a 2nd so this is simply too much value to pass up.
GEORGE PICKENS (WR)
The enigmatic George Pickens leaves Pittsburgh for greener pastures in Dallas. How does Pickens as the Steelers’ WR-1 differ from the Cowboys’ WR-2? I do not expect a tremendous change. Pickens will play with the best quarterback of his career in Dak Prescott and becomes the best sidekick to CeeDee Lamb since Amari Cooper. But don’t forget, this is Lamb’s offense and the passing volume could taper off some under a new coaching staff.
To Buy
George Pickens ←→ ‘27 2nd round pick
I would peg Pickens’ value at around a 2nd so this works for me.
George Pickens + ‘27 1st round pick ←→ D.J. Moore + ‘26 3rd round pick
Moore is the clear WR-1 in Chicago but it is now a crowded room of Bears pass-catchers and the Pickens side includes a future 1st.
To Sell
George Pickens + Matthew Golden + ‘26 2nd round pick ←→ Nico Collins
If you can acquire Nico Collins without having to give up a 1st or a true top-end player, you do it.
George Pickens + Dak Prescott ←→ Jalen Hurts
I like the idea of the Cowboys’ stack but this is pretty cheap for Hurts.
JAYLEN WADDLE (WR)
Jaylen Waddle is coming off a down season where the Dolphins’ offense simply was not the Mike McDaniel offense we are used to. Waddle may not get back to his WR-8 fantasy finish in sophomore season but Tyreek Hill is not getting any younger so something has to give. Unfortunately the “something has to give” sentiment is wearing this with some dynasty managers, hence the volume of dynasty trades.
To Buy
Jaylen Waddle + ‘26 1st round pick + ‘26 2nd round pick ←→ Jaxon Smith-Njigba
It is not lost on me the breakout season JSN just had but I have my doubts about Sam Darnold and there is simply too much value on the Waddle side to pass up.
Jaylen Waddle + ‘26 2nd ←→ Jordan Addison + ‘26 3rd round pick
I see Waddle and Addison in a similar range so might as well scoot up from the 3rd to the 2nd.
To Sell
Jaylen Waddle + ‘26 1st round pick ←→ A.J. Brown
Barkley and Hurts have changed the balance of the Eagles’ offense but Brown is still the efficient WR-1 with touchdown upside.
Jaylen Waddle + ‘26 1st round pick + ‘26 2nd round pick + ‘27 2nd round pick ←→ Amon-Ra St. Brown
This may be a little rich for ARSB considering their offense will now be without offensive guru Ben Johnson but Brown remains a cornerstone in dynasty.
BREECE HALL (RB)
Trade rumors and an emphasis on the Justin Fields-Garrett Wilson connection has resulted in Breece Hall’s involvement in many dynasty trades. Fields’ rushing upside could change things for Hall but in the last two seasons the latter has eclipsed 280 touches and I expect much of the same in 2025. This appears to be the biggest discount for Hall since his ACL tear in his rookie season so if the value is right make the move.
To Buy
Breece Hall + Marvin Harrison Jr. ←→ Saquon Barkley
I am not superstitious but I am a little stitious so let’s steer clear of the Madden curse and split Barkley into Hall and MHJ.
Breece Hall ←→ ‘27 1st round pick
Unless you are in a rebuild, this is a good use of a future 1st.
To Sell
Breece Hall + Justin Fields + ‘26 1st round pick ←→ Lamar Jackson
Sell Hall to get Lamar Jackson (insert Step Brothers “Yup!”).
Breece Hall + Jordan Addison + ‘26 3rd round pick ←→ CeeDee Lamb
See answer above but for CeeDee Lamb
CHRIS OLAVE (WR)
There is reason for skepticism for Chris Olave in 2025 as he played in only eight games in 2024 after dealing with multiple concussions. And the minimally anticipated quarterback competition between Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler only furthers the uncertainty. But I believe the talent is there and whether or not he can remain healthy and elevate the Saints’ offense is worth a “buy” for the right price.
To Buy
Chris Olave + Baker Mayfield + ‘26 1st round pick ←→ Drake Maye + Jauan Jennings + ‘26 2nd round pick
This is about more than just Olave but I am comfortable with the difference in the players considering the jump from the 2nd to the 1st next year.
Chris Olave + Josh Jacobs ←→ Matthew Golden + ‘26 1st round pick + ‘26 3rd round pick
I am simply not a believer in Golden as a high-end player in fantasy and his teammate, Jacobs, is one of the few bell cow running backs left.
To Sell
Chris Olave + Jayden Reed ←→ Rashee Rice
This time last year there would have been more appeal for Reed but we could be on the precipice of the first of many WR-1 seasons from Rice.
Chris Olave + Emeka Egbuka ←→ Tetairoa McMillan + ‘26 2nd round pick + ‘27 2nd round pick
My Panthers’ fandom aside, McMillan is on an ascending offense in Carolina and the two 2nds could be utilized for more moves in the future.
So you made it this long and hopefully you enjoyed it (that’s what she said). If you wouldn’t mind sharing this in your group message with your fellow dynasty degenerates I would greatly appreciate it!
