KENYON SADIQ | TE-1️⃣

Sadiq is undoubtedly the TE-1 in this class. The NFL Combine highlighted Sadiq’s historic athleticism at a position that highly values it. Despite being shorter and a bit lighter than the “ideal” tight end prospect, Sadiq has a strong, compact frame. That athletic frame creates mismatches against slower defenders and helps to create YAC. Athleticism is king with the tight end position; however, Sadiq’s hands are inconsistent, leading to the occasional drop. In a class that is lacking a true “generational” tight end, Sadiq is an intriguing option and is likely to be the first one drafted at some point in the first round.

Relatively new to the position, Stowers converted to tight end after entering college as a quarterback. Among the undersized tight ends, Stowers is one of the leanest, but he is also one of the most athletic, second only to Kenyon Sadiq. While the frame is more of a big slot, Stowers has tremendous speed and ball skills that would be any quarterback’s dream. What stands out in Stower’s play is his catch radius and ball skills, which will serve him well, as his blocking will not be where he hangs his hat. The primary knock would be with being undersized; Stowers could be sharing snaps with a more inline tight end, but could also pair with one in 12 personnel.

After Kenyon Sadiq and Eli Stowers is a mixed bag of tight ends, and I am hitching my wagon to Sam Roush. While we have grown accustomed to the tight ends that immediately produce for fantasy, Roush is one who may take some time to marinade. Roush is built like a brick shithouse and has a rugby background that aligns with his YAC ability. The production for Roush was so-so throughout his collegiate career, but there was year-over-year improvement. And as athleticism is highly valued at the tight end position, the NFL Combine highlighted the athleticism that showed up on the field. Roush can earn his stripes as a blocker day one in the NFL, but I believe in his growth as a receiver, where he can be a safety valve for a quarterback and generate YAC.

JORDYN TYSON | WR-1️⃣

Tyson fits the bill as the most talented receiver in the class. He creates immediate separation with crafty releases and snappy route running. Regardless of the space he creates, Tyson is able to track the deep ball and use his physicality to win contested catches. And while he is not the twitchiest player, Tyson is more than capable of churning out yards after the catch. It is not lost on me that Tyson has dealt with multiple injuries throughout his collegiate career, but his talent is undeniable, and I am willing to bet on it. And as a Panthers fan, I believe that anyone can be the next Thomas Davis and recover from multiple knee injuries.

This skill set can do well as a team’s WR-1 or immediately step in as one of the NFL’s best WR-2’s. Tate does not win with acceleration off the line or long-speed, but he is smooth in and out of routes and knows how to navigate zone coverage well. With much discrepancy among the top receivers in the 2026 rookie class, Tate feels like a safe top-3 option.

Boston checks a few of the boxes that make him a “My Guy” for me in the 2026 rookie class, which includes an X-receiver frame and versatility to line up all over the offense. Despite being a bigger receiver, Boston is a smooth operator and can do damage both in the intermediate and deep phases of the field. Hell, even on catch-and-run opportunities, Boston’s ability after the catch is impressive for a receiver his size. I can see Boston being relegated to X-receiver duties at the NFL level, which could reduce his target share and fantasy upside. However, Boston’s collegiate career paints the picture of a receiver who is capable of working all over the field and leading a receiver room.

JEREMIYAH LOVE | RB-1️⃣

Love is the clear-cut 1.01 in any dynasty rookie draft, and it is no mystery why. The nearly 3,500 total yards across his three years at Notre Dame highlight Love’s versatility. Love has the speed to bounce outside, enough power to take on contact between the tackles, and the natural hands to be more than just a dump-off option for his next quarterback. There is no offense that Love couldn’t elevate, with a three-down skillset, so for fantasy, there are no big concerns.

A knee injury ate into his touches in 2025, but there was still enough to warrant Coleman leading an NFL backfield. At worst, Coleman can be the early down and red zone back, which offers plenty of fantasy upside.

Getting to the second level in a hurry, Price can shake arm tackles and churn out yardage. My concern is that, as a leaner back without great start-stop ability, he could be susceptible to getting bottled up when the one-cut is not the right one. But there is certainly enough there for Price to earn a flex-worthy role in an NFL backfield.

QUARTERBACKS

No top-end moves to speak of, but five teams likely filled their starting quarterback spot for 2026 in the Colts (Daniel Jones), Jets (Geno Smith), the Vikings (Kyler Murray), the Dolphins (Malik Willis), and the Falcons (Tua Tagovailoa). Danny Dimes was already staying in Indianapolis under the tag, but this secures his roster spot for the next two years. Geno reunited with the team that drafted him was not on my bingo card, but I do like the fit. Kyler to the Vikings was the worst-kept secret as another quarterback revitalizes his career in Minnesota. Willis just made sense with the Green Bay connection, and despite a small sample size, I think he could very well be the next reclamation story at quarterback. Tua to Atlanta is another one that just makes sense, with Michael Penix recovering from injury and new head coach Kevin Stefanski needing a quarterback to feed his many playmakers.

RUNNING BACKS

There were only so many running backs to serve as clear-cut starters at their next stop. Walker is joining the Chiefs’ backfield after years of fantasy managers waiting for Kansas City to finally get a top-end running back. Isiah Pacheco was no slouch early in his career, but lingering injuries may have dampened his production in 2025. Etienne was a surprise signing, getting big money to go to the Saints despite Alvin Kamara still on the roster. Kamara may still be dealt, but if he remains on the team, then he could revert to a third-down role where he can showcase his calling card, his pass-catching chops.

The rest of this list is the spot starters, backups, and role players. A few players return to familiar cities: Aaron Jones (MIN), Jaleel McLaughlin (DEN), J.K. Dobbins (DEN), and Kene Nwangwu (NYJ). The most exciting landing spots to me are Chris Rodriguez (JAX), Emanuel Wilson (SEA), Kenneth Gainwell (TB), Rachaad White (WAS), and Tyler Allgeier (ARI). Rodriguez serves as the power element in Jacksonville and reunites with his former college coach, Liam Coen. Wilson offers a high-end backup option who can start while Zach Charbonnet recovers from a late-season knee injury. Gainwell is a great option to fill the White role in Tampa Bay, as depth was much needed in 2025 with Bucky Irving missing nearly half of the season. White should serve as the lead back, but at worst, he can secure the third-down role in Washington. Allgeier can step into the James Conner role as a powerful runner who can handle some pass-catching work. The remainder of the players are presumed backups, which, as any fantasy manager has learned, is valuable at the running back position. A few of the key free agent running backs still on the market include: Austin Ekeler, Brian Robinson, Joe Mixon, Kareem Hunt, and Najee Harris.

Well, Alec Pierce just got PAID! The Colts quickly moved on from Michael Pittman, but instead of releasing him, they were able to trade him to the Steelers. Pittman and new teammate D.K. Metcalf form a tall duo rivaling the Panthers pairing of Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess from back in the day. Jalen Nailor is an intriguing addition by the Raiders, as he did well with limited chances in Minnesota and could earn a larger role in Las Vegas. Mike Evans has finally decided to leave Tampa Bay and join a 49ers receiver room very much in need of his services. Rashid Shaheed returns to the Seahawks after he was acquired via trade last season as the team worked towards a Super Bowl victory. Romeo Doubs leaves the collection of ancillary receivers to potentially serve as Drake Maye’s number one option. Wan’Dale Robinson is one of many former Giants who have followed Brian Daboll to Tennessee.

Isaiah Likely is also elevated to a big role for the Giants, as Theo Johnson can take on blocking duties in 12 personnel.

Goedert’s free agent journey is still going, but Calcaterra has a chance for more opportunity in 2026. A few of the key free agent tight ends still on the market include: David Njoku, Darren Waller, Jonnu Smith, and Will Dissly.

Here is a look at LAST year’s TE buys under 25.

The tight end position has long been thought to be a slow burn, with dynasty managers waiting a few seasons for players to get their footing. While that is still commonplace, wide-open NFL offenses are becoming more friendly to the pass-catching tight ends. And the tight ends mentioned in this article are ones to buy in dynasty before the price is too steep.

*Qualifying tight ends are under 25 years old by the beginning of the 2026 NFL season and outside the Top-24 in TE fantasy points per game in 2025. Dynasty trades sources from Dynasty Daddy. Trades were based on the following settings:

Mason Taylor (TE-31 — 6.8 ppg — 22 years old)

2025 Stats: [44 catches / 65 targets - 369 yds - 1 TD]

The youngest member of this list, Taylor, stepped into a chaotic Jets situation for his rookie season (Jets and chaos, who knew?). Taylor entered his rookie season as the starting tight end for the Jets and even put up three top-12 fantasy performances. Inconsistency at quarterback, coupled with a late-season neck injury, resulted in a so-so rookie season.

Entering the 2026 season, the Jets are a team with money to spend and needs to fill (everywhere). Two pass catchers that are set in stone are Garrett Wilson and Taylor, who should serve the next Jets quarterback well. The Jets’ new offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, could mean increased involvement for Taylor, especially in the red zone (per Michael Nania). Although he plays on the Jets, Taylor serves as an up-and-coming tight end in a time where there is a changing of the guard at the position.

Gunnar Helm (TE-37 — 5.7 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [44 catches / 55 targets - 357 yds - 2 TDs]

Helm entered his rookie season in Tennessee behind veteran Chig Okonkwo and with rookie Cam Ward at the… helm. The Titans’ season was one to forget, but Helm offered reason for optimism as a tight end who is a competent blocker while also being a threat as a receiver (the latter of which has hindered Okonkwo). Helm’s usage is also encouraging, as 8 of his 55 targets came in the red zone.

After a poor showing by the Titans as a whole, the team brought in a new head coach, Robert Saleh, who then added Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator. The move, along with spending money and draft capital, hopes to revamp the Titans’ offense in 2026. And barring a change of heart, it looks like the Titans are set to let Okonkwo test free agency. So while Helm was not drafted by the current coaching staff, he should serve the new offensive system well.

Darnell Washington (TE-43 — 4.6 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [31 catches / 43 targets - 364 yds - 1 TD]

Washington is a punishing blocker who helped level up the Steelers’ rushing attack in 2025. The veteran tight ends, Pat Freiermuth and Jonnu Smith, however, were ahead of him for receiving duties. Despite the block-heavy duties, Washington has seen his role as a pass-catcher grow year-over-year since his rookie season in 2023. And there is nothing more fun than watching Washington churn out yards and punish defenders who are foolish enough to get in his way.

Before you say it, yes, Washington will be 25 before the regular season, but he will be 24 for the preseason, and that helps for this article’s criteria. And what helps Washington is the Steelers’ releasing of Smith ahead of free agency, as well as the new head coach hiring a long-time tight ends coach, Brian Angelichio, as the team’s offensive coordinator. This is not a costly buy in dynasty, but Washington offers an intriguing chance to increase his value come Week 1.

Terrance Ferguson (TE-46 — 4.0 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [11 catches / 25 targets - 231 yds - 3 TD]

Ferguson’s involvement in the offense took some time to develop, but Ferguson utilized his high-end athleticism to serve as a downfield threat. There may have been some frustration from fantasy managers when an injury to Higbee led to increased involvement from Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen. But head coach Sean McVay has been steadfast in his praise for Ferguson’s athleticism and versatility as a playmaker.

Okay, so the Rams’ re-signing of Tyler Higbee (again) does not help Ferguson’s fantasy opportunities. But a full offseason for Ferguson allows him to become more immersed in the Rams’ offense. The Rams are no strangers to utilizing 12 and 13 Personnel, which would lead to Ferguson getting more opportunities in one of the NFL’s most high-powered offenses. Ferguson is no stranger to most dynasty managers, but if you can buy him at a reasonable price, then do it!

Ben Sinnott (TE-72 — 1.8 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [11 catches / 13 targets - 114 yds - 1 TD]

A returning name from last year’s list, Sinnott more than doubled his rookie-year fantasy production in 2025, even if it meant going from 0.8 pppg to 1.8 ppg. Optimism around Sinnott was tied to a Jayden Daniels-led offense and the possible decline of veteran Zach Ertz. Unfortunately, the Commanders’ offense was not quite as effective as in 2024, due in part to injuries keeping Daniels out for most of the season. Ertz tore his ACL in Week 14, which led to an increase in opportunity for Sinnott; however, to no avail.

A healthy Daniels, a free agent departure from Ertz, and a new offensive coordinator in David Blough point to reasons for Sinnott’s growth in 2026. Sinnott showcased his versatility during his time at Kansas State as a capable blocker and receiver, which Blough could unlock this season. With the last few years of tight end prospects breaking out early, dynasty managers could be fatigued from waiting for Sinnott and be willing to sell for cheap.

Here is a look at LAST year’s WR buys under 25.

Wide receivers tend to have a larger window where they are productive for fantasy. Just look at players like Mike Evans, Davante Adams, and Keenan Allen, who have remained productive into their 30’s. But in an ideal world, dynasty managers are acquiring receivers on their ascension and taking advantage of their peak dynasty value via fantasy production or trade. In this article, I highlight five receivers under 25 who are buys in dynasty.

Parker Washington (WR 35t — 11.5 ppg — 24 years old)

Okay, so maybe Washington just missed the cut, but I’m bending the rules for this one. The former Nittany Lion experienced his best season in 2025, under a new regime led by first-time head coach Liam Coen. While Brian Thomas Jr. was going through a sophomore slump, Washington stepped up, and over the last half of the season, he posted four top-12 fantasy finishes.

On the cusp of free agency, there are trade rumors surrounding Thomas, which could open up target opportunities for Washington. Though even when Thomas returned from injury, Washington secured a target-rich role in the Jaguars’ offense. If you can’t tell, I am optimistic about Washington’s PPR upside heading into 2026!

Dynasty Trades to acquire Parker Washington:

Brian Thomas Jr. (WR-47 — 9.9 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [48 catches / 91 targets - 707 yards - 2 TDs] & [3 rushes - 21 yards - 1 TD]

Enough about Parker Washington, let’s talk about his teammate, Brian Thomas Jr. Thomas entered his second season after a top-12 fantasy rookie season, and it was rocky to say the least. A new offense resulted in fewer targets as Thomas missed some time due to injury and was among the top-5 in the NFL in drops.

Thomas has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason, as teams could try to recapture that rookie season magic. The price for Thomas in dynasty will change once free agency begins because teams will fill their receiver needs. So just like anyone else on this list, Thomas is a buy in dynasty at the right price. Even if he does not replicate his 2024 success, he would likely still serve as a startable receiver in fantasy for years to come.

Jordan Addison (WR 48 — 9.7 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [42 catches / 79 targets - 610 yards - 3 TDs] & [2 rushes - 81 yards - 1 TD]

2025 was a season to forget for the Vikings’ offense as a whole. It was, essentially, J.J. McCarthy’s rookie year, which was marred by inconsistency and injury. Addison was not immune to the offensive deficiency, as he posted career lows in multiple categories in his third season. The good news is that the issue was less with Addison underperforming, so there is reason for optimism.

Addison enters his fourth NFL season, and as a former first-round pick, I would expect the Vikings to pick up his fifth-year option. This gives Addison some runway to earn a bigger payday, as early offseason news indicates the Vikings are looking to upgrade the quarterback position. Regardless of who is under center in Minnesota, I expect an upgrade to what was a down year for the offense as a whole. This is a buy window for Addison, but it is quickly shrinking.

Luther Burden III (WR 57 — 8.5 ppg — 22 years old)

2025 Stats: [47 catches / 60 targets - 652 yards - 2 TDs] & [6 rushes - 37 yards]

The Bears’ offense took a huge step forward in 2025, and Burden was an important part. By the middle of the season, Burden’s snap share more than doubled, and he even peppered in one week as the NFL’s WR-1 (Week 17). Ahead of the offseason, there was reason for Burden optimism, but the youngest receiver on this list got a huge boost from a recent trade.

The Bears continue to generate returns from the infamous “Bryce Young Trade”, with the recent trade of D.J. Moore to the Bills. Chicago moving on from Moore is not a huge shock, considering his wavering involvement in 2025. But what it does is clear the way for all of the Bears’ pass-catchers to earn more targets. I expect Burden to pick up where he left off and to clean up his drops that were one of the few blemishes to a successful rookie season. I would not expect most dynasty managers to let go of Burden go for anything less than a haul, but it is worth a try!

• Luther Burden + Jonathan Brooks - MarShawn Lloyd ←→ TreVeyon Henderson

Tory Horton (WR 60 — 8.1 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [13 catches / 22 targets - 161 yards - 5 TDs]

I was a fan of Horton coming out of Colorado State, and he showed flashes in his rookie season. Unfortunately, Horton only played the first half following a leg injury. The offense flowed heavily through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but Horton maintained a near a 50% snap share and earned valuable touches. Horton converted a mere 13 receptions into 5 touchdowns, and while touchdowns can vary, it is encouraging to see usage in scoring distances.

The Seahawks enter the 2026 season as reigning Super Bowl Champions and return most of their offensive weapons. A healthy Horton could serve as an exciting ancillary option to JSN, even with the return of Cooper Kupp. Horton, as a buy in dynasty, is still fueled by my initial impression of him coming out of college, but there was little to knock me off my opinion in 2025.

Running backs have the shortest shelf life of the fantasy-relevant positions. Fantasy rosters are already sensitive to the fragility of the running back position, but it is amplified in dynasty, where an ageless wonder like Derrick Henry is a rarity. In this article, I highlight five running backs under 25 that could be on the rise in dynasty.

Monangai entered the Bears’ backfield as a 7th-round rookie and filled in well behind veteran D’Andre Swift. Despite only usurping a 50% snapshare twice during the season, Monangai had three top-12 fantasy finishes. Swift performed well; however, he is entering a contract year, and Monangai could step into a larger role.

The NFL’s legal tampering period begins tomorrow, so we will quickly find out what the Bears think about their backfield before the NFL Draft. Ben Johnson enters his second season after getting to the playoffs in his inaugural season as the Bears’ head coach. With the success Monangai brought in his rookie season, I would expect continuity with this budding offense.

Devin Neal (RB-54 — 6.7 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [57 rushes - 206 yds - 2 TDs] - [17 catches / 19 targets - 104 yds - 0 TDs]

Neal joined the Saints’ backfield as a 6th-round back behind superstar Alvin Kamara and the potential-filled Kendre Miller. I did not understand the level of Miller hype entering the league, but with Kamara getting older, there is reason to look for his successor. Unfortunately, Kamara’s season was marred by injury, and so was Miller’s, with the latter tearing his ACL. Neal did not really get snaps until halfway through the season, but he contributed both on the ground and through the air.

Heading into the 2026 season, Kamara restructured his contract, and Miller is entering a contract season. The Saints are still navigating the cap repercussions caused by years of kicking the can down the road, so Neal’s position in the backfield as a cheap option is secure. The Saints could finally be moving on from Kamara, but even if he remains, we saw in 2025 the necessity for productive backfield support.

Dynasty Trades to acquire Devin Neal:

• Devin Neal + Tory Horton ←→ Jaylen Warren

• Devin Neal + Isaac TeSlaa + ‘27 3rd ←→ Tyler Allgeier

Bhayshul Tuten (RB 59 — 5.9 ppg — 23 years old)

2025 Stats: [83 rushes - 307 yds - 5 TDs] - [10 catches / 14 targets - 79 yds - 2 TDs]

Last offseason, there was much uncertainty as to who would lead the Jaguars’ backfield. Sure enough, Tank Bigsby gets traded to the Eagles, and Travis Etienne is the clear lead running back. Tuten missed a total of three games in his rookie season, but his role did turn into a consistent high-20, low-30% snapshare by the latter half of the season. Tuten’s home run speed kept him involved.

As Etiene enters free agency, it is a wonder if the Jaguars will pay up or if he finds a new jersey to wear. Considering the new coaching regime drafted Tuten, I would expect him to enter the 2026 season with at least a third of the touches as the complement to a bigger back. But the more optimistic take is that Liam Coen opens up the offense and utilizes Tuten more as a big play, pass-catching threat.

• Bhayshul Tuten + D.J. Moore ←→ Kenneth Gainwell + ‘26 1.12

Dylan Sampson (RB-62 — 5.8 ppg — 22 years old)

2025 Stats: [65 rushes - 175 yds] - [33 catches / 40 targets - 271 yds - 2 TDs]

Sampson joined fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins in the Cleveland backfield in 2025. With contract discussions delaying Judkins’ debut, Sampson got work early, but once Judkins appeared Sampson’s involvement was stifled for weeks. Much of Sampson’s work was as a pass-catcher, allowing for Judkins to handle the ground game. Unfortunately, Judkins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 16, but this allowed Sampson a bit more run.

The Browns’ offense is already slated for a lot of turnover, with the offensive line looking different before free agency even begins. Considering the poor cap situation the Browns are in, I would not expect the Browns to invest heavily in the running back position this offseason. And with a healthy Judkins, the smallest role Sampson should have is as the pass-catching back. It would serve the Browns well to involve Sampson more as he showed in his rookie season flashes.

• Dylan Sampson ←→ Ryan Flournoy + Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Sean Tucker (RB-64 — 5.4 ppg — 24 years old)

2025 Stats: [86 rushes - 320 yds - 7 TDs] - [8 catches / 11 targets - 34 yds - 1 TD]

Tucker is coming off his most productive season after entering the NFL as a UDFA. With lead back Bucky Irving missing seven games in 2025, Tucker split backfield duties with Rachaad White. While White has the size to better handle pass protection duties, Tucker can produce both as a runner and a receiver.

Free agency is only a day away, and the Buccaneers did not tender Tucker, so he will be unrestricted. This does not rule out a return to Tampa Bay, however, as fellow backup White is also a free agent. I am optimistic about Tucker’s dynasty upside regardless of landing spot, as I would expect him to seek out an opportunity where he will be the backup and not the third string waiting for an injury to earn touches.

Love is the fairly clear-cut first option here. I can understand a QB-needy dynasty team going for Mendoza, but I have him slotted in at the next range.

It is rarely a bad idea to go with the first pick of the NFL draft in this range, especially when it is a quarterback in a superflex league. I have Denzel Boston ahead of Makai Lemon, but in most rankings, the market indicates Boston would be after this trio of receivers. This is the range to buy that early first if you believe in one of these receivers, or sell it to upgrade at a position like quarterback or receiver.

Sadiq is an athletic, pass-catching tight end who can be a top-12 fantasy producer if deployed in the right offense. For Simpson, it will depend on landing spot, but he strikes me as a player who will have at least one real chance to be a starter during his rookie contract. I think this tier is the steepest decline amongst the first round of dynasty drafts, but you could still find managers looking to “get their guy”.

This would be the range to sell for a proven but undervalued veteran or kick the first rounder to 2027.

Heisman winner. National Champion. Mendoza could not have asked for a better final collegiate season. A lackluster quarterback class leaves Mendoza as the clear-cut choice for the Raiders as they enter the season with cap space, draft capital, and a new head coach—the chalkiest pick in the first round.

TY SIMPSON - QB - ALABAMA

JETS 1️⃣6️⃣ → KIPER

As it stands, Simpson is slated to be the second quarterback off the board, depending on how the legal situation shakes out for Trinidad Chambliss. Simpson does not overwhelm with athleticism, but he has a snappy release and is able to process well in the pocket (think Brock Purdy). I expect Simpson to be a first-round quarterback in the NFL Draft, but sliding to the second round is not out of the question.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.07 - 1.10

JEREMIYAH LOVE - RB - NOTRE DAME

SAINTS 8️⃣ → ZIERLEIN & JEREMIAH

CHIEFS 9️⃣ → KIPER

Mocking Love in the top 10 is a testament to how diluted the quarterback class is, but it is also indicative of how much of a game-changing talent he is at the running back position. The complete, bell-cow back will immediately vault himself into the top-10 of dynasty running backs regardless of his landing spot. Love is the only clear selection ahead of Mendoza in superflex drafts.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.01 - 1.02

CARNELL TATE - WR - OHIO STATE

GIANTS 5️⃣ → KIPER

BROWNS 6️⃣ → ZIERLEIN

JETS 1️⃣6️⃣ → JEREMIAH

Another Ohio State wide receiver in the first round… what a shock! Tate is among a trio of receivers atop the 2026 draft class, and it’s easy to see why—a huge frame, top-tier hands, and a natural ability to find gaps in coverage. Kiper likes him the most here, but it is not if, but when he is selected in the first round.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.02 - 1.06

JORDYN TYSON - WR - ARIZONA STATE

SAINTS 8️⃣ → KIPER

PANTHERS 1️⃣9️⃣ → JEREMIAH

COWBOYS 2️⃣0️⃣ → ZIERLEIN

Tyson is MY WR-1 in this class as the total package for a receiver. The requisite size, speed, and athleticism to get it done. All while being a crafty route-runner and having the versatility line up anywhere in the formation. Injury concerns are valid, but Tyson is firmly amongst the top-3 receivers in this class. And as you can see, there is no consensus on where he will end up.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.02 - 1.06

MAKAI LEMON - WR - USC

RAMS 1️⃣3️⃣ → JEREMIAH

RAVENS 1️⃣4️⃣ → KIPER

JETS 1️⃣6️⃣ → ZIERLEIN

Lemon is among the top-3 wide receivers in this year’s class, and for some, he is the clear-cut leader of this tier. Despite not being the tallest receiver, Lemon uses positioning and stellar hands to make both his quarterback and the highlight reel happy. With heavy slot usage in college, I think the landing spot will be most impactful in dynasty draft stock for Lemon.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.02 - 1.06

DENZEL BOSTON - WR - WASHINGTON

STEELERS 2️⃣1️⃣ → KIPER - ZIERLEIN - JEREMIAH

I have Boston ranked as the WR-3 of this class, but for most, he is ranked just outside the top trio of receivers. Boston has a lanky frame, strong hands, and possesses the skills to work all over the formation. I see him as more than just an X-receiver, and he will be at worst a strong second option in any offense.

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.04 - 1.07

ZACHARIAH BRANCH - WR - GEORGIA

BROWNS 2️⃣4️⃣ → KIPER

N/A → ZIERLEIN - JEREMIAH

Branch is one of the biggest home run threats in the 2026 draft class. Not an X-receiver frame, but Branch has a compact frame that, when paired with his rocket boosters, he offers real fantasy upside. The catch is, what is his landing spot, and how is he utilized? But there is reason for optimism!

🏈 DYNASTY DRAFT RANGE→ 1.10 - 1.12

CHRIS BRAZELL II - WR - TENNESSEE

BILLS 2️⃣6️⃣ → KIPER

N/A → ZIERLEIN - JEREMIAH

Arguably the lankiest of the potential first-round receivers mentioned in this article, Brazell was built to track deep balls on the outside. Brazell offers a huge advantage at the catch point, with good route-running ability for his size and body control to handle contested catches. Whether or not the NFL sees Brazell as a first-round talent will be something to watch.

KC CONCEPCION - WR - TEXAS A&M

BRONCOS 3️⃣0️⃣ → ZIERLEIN

The second most explosive receiver on this list is Concepcion, who has shown the ability to take a screen and get upfield in a hurry. More than just acceleration, Concepcion has displayed elusivity in the open field and plays bigger than his slender frame would lead you to believe. There is fantasy intrigue with Concepcion.

KENYON SADIQ - TE - OREGON

BUCCANEERS 1️⃣5️⃣ → KIPER

49ERS 2️⃣7️⃣ → ZIERLEIN & JEREMIAH

An absolute athlete and currently the leader amongst the 2026 tight end class, Sadiq profiles as an exciting “move” tight end with fantasy upside. Saqid is somewhat undersized, but his speed, route running, hands, and body control could make him a productive weapon in the right scheme. He is firmly in the first round of dynasty rookie drafts, but without a tight end premium, I expect him to be in the latter half of the round.

• The Cardinals had the second-fewest rushing yards per game, which was amplified by the season-ending injury of James Conner.

• The Cardinals are still trying to figure out how to maximize production from their first-round receiver, Marvin Harrison Jr.

• Not a free agent, but there have been rumors that David Montgomery may not be on the roster in 2026.

• A down year in 2025 for what has been considered one of the league’s best offensive lines.

TREVOR LAWRENCE (JAX)

2025 was a great year for Lawrence, as he put together his best fantasy season, supported by his most passing and rushing touchdowns. The first half of the season was up and down, but since Week 11, Lawrence’s worst weekly fantasy finish was QB-13. A reason for optimism going forward is the continuity of the head coach and most of his offensive weapons. With a player like Lawrence, his varied fantasy performances should create a clear divide between buyers and sellers. This makes for a very tradeable player in dynasty, whichever side you are on.

Another top-12 fantasy finish for Hurts in 2025, but it did not have the same fantasy flair. The main difference in Hurts’ fantasy production was that his rushing touchdowns nearly cut in half from the prior two seasons. The season began with perceived strife amongst some of the Eagles players; however, winning cures all ailments. No matter the drama, Hurts is bound to be surrounded by top-end playmakers as long as GM Howie Roseman is employed. This is a down year for Hurts compared to recent years, but nothing that scares me off from a fantasy perspective.

Josh Jacobs continues to do two things: shoulder the rushing volume and score rushing touchdowns. The 27-year old running back is under contract for the next two seasons, and there is little reason to expect a fall off any time soon. Jacobs is in a good offense with continuity at the head coach and quarterback. As some dynasty managers look to get younger at running back, Jacobs is a steady producer that could be had for the right price.

Marks offers intriguing pass-catching upside when the Texans choose to target him. Despite his smaller frame, Marks had multiple weeks with 15+ touches. Hopefully, the Texans choose to invest in the offensive line, making fantasy production that much easier to come by. I expect the Texans to add competition to the running back room, but Marks should remain a viable fantasy option in 2026.

The targets and touchdowns were translated from McConkey’s rookie year, but that was about it. In each of McConkey’s two seasons, he has three top-12 fantasy weeks, but his receptions and yards saw a significant dip in 2025. Justin Herbert was frequently under duress behind a piecemeal offensive line, and McConkey now battled for targets with an aging Keenan Allen and emerging players in Quentin Johnston and Oronde Gadsden. McConkey is a promising young receiver who will need to be efficient despite not garnering a traditional WR-1 target share.

And after just 15 targets and a snap share below 30% in the first half of the 2025 season, Burden’s opportunities grew to 45 targets and had a snap share routinely above 40%. Those who were in early on Burden have been rewarded, especially with a fantasy finish as THE WR-1 in Week 17. Burden is clearly a pivotal piece of the Bears’ future, and he may not be so easy to pry away from dynasty managers.

Early in his rookie season, Loveland was slowed by a hip injury and eased into the offense. Dynasty managers’ patience was rewarded with Loveland stacking up four top-3 fantasy finishes since Week 9. Much like Luther Burden, Loveland offers Caleb Williams a consistent target for years to come. With the changing of the guard at the tight end position in fantasy, Loveland is a tremendous option if you can still get him at a reasonable price.

Brenton Strange was a buy for me heading into the 2025 season, as he filled in admirably for teammate Evan Engram in 2024. The Liam Coen-led Jaguars offense has plenty of pass-catchers, but Strange proved to be one of Trevor Lawrence’s favorite targets. Strange found himself on the injured reserve, missing five weeks, but that did not derail the rest of his season. With the Jaguars’ offense really hitting its stride in the second half of the season, Strange is a player in dynasty that can still be had at a reasonable price.

The Quarterbacks

The free agency pool ahead of the 2026 season has a few intriguing names at the top, but only one that could find themselves in a new jersey, Malik Willis. Otherwise, this is a fairly underwhelming free agent class for the quarterback-needy teams. Here are the Top-15 free agent quarterbacks:

Tier 1

4. Trey Lance

Tier 1 and Tier 2 include the four free agent quarterbacks that I think have the best chance to be starters in 2026. Unfortunately, Daniel Jones’ season ended due to injury, but the expectation is for him to remain in Indianapolis. Aaron Rodgers ends the season healthy, but at his age, there is a wonder as to when he hangs it up. Marcus Mariota showed why he is a high-end backup in relief of Jayden Daniels, which is where he will likely stay. The most intriguing name on this list is Malik Willis, who raised his stock tremendously with his late-season heroics in place of Jordan Love.

Tier 3 and Tier 4 are the backup quarterbacks that could also serve as bridge quarterbacks. Some on this list have had multiple opportunities (Tyrod Taylor, Joe Flacco, Carson Wentz, Gardner Minshew). Among the rest of the list are younger quarterbacks who are intriguing. Trey Lance comes to mind as an interesting dynasty option. I am not so sure about a starting opportunity, but he has rushing upside and a big arm.

Tier 5 is a duo of backups that are likely to stay that way. Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo look to be near the end of their NFL road. They will likely be on rosters, but for their veteran experience more than their production.

The Running Backs

The running backs are, in my opinion, the best fantasy-relevant position group in the 2026 free agent class. Some are players who have successfully led backfields, backups who could be in line for a larger role, and complementary players who find relevance when injuries mount. Here are the Top-20 free agent running backs:

Tier 1 has five backs who have led backfields at various points in their careers and are young and productive enough to warrant starter money in 2026. This tier all finished 2025 with double-digit fantasy points per game, and I could see a path where all are in different jerseys next season. However, I think it is most likely that at least one will return to their current team, Javonte Williams. Breece Hall was a big surprise that he wasn’t moved at the trade deadline, and the expectation is that he is gone in 2026. Kenneth Walker played in an underwhelming Seahawks’ rushing attack and ceded valuable red zone touches to Zach Charbonnet. Rico Dowdle went to Carolina on a prove-it deal after being slighted by the Cowboys and earned himself a nice pay raise next season. Travis Etienne entered 2025 with a lot of talk about who was going to take his job, but Etienne showed why he warranted a first-round draft pick in 2021.

Tier 2 consists of committee backs who have seen ample workloads at various points in their careers, whether it be through injury or gameflow. Unfortunately, J.K. Dobbins’ injury was cut short yet again by injury, and that is likely to affect his value as a 27-year old back. Rachaad White and Kenneth Gainwell have both an ability to withstand additional volume with their backfield leaders injured, with the latter sustaining that volume throughout the season. Brian Robinson and Tyler Allgeier both have had success as backfield leaders, but found themselves behind arguably two of the best running backs, Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson, respectively. Look for Robinson and Allgeier to test the market with a chance for both a raise and an increase in opportunities.

Tier 3 is primarily older and/or injured backs that lose leverage in free agency as a new crop of rookies enters the league. Najee Harris and Austin Ekeler both lost their 2025 seasons to Achilles tendon injuries. Isiah Pacheco, Jerome Ford, and Nick Chubb were outplayed by their backfield counterparts in 2025, leading to what will likely be a lukewarm free agency reception. Kareem Hunt is another older running back, but he just will not quit, after outplaying Pacheco in 2025. Hunt is likely relegated to a handful of one-year deals at this point in his career, but he continues to serve as an at least average ball carrier.

Tier 4 is a group of backs that will likely only find fantasy relevance for one week per season following a slew of injuries. But that scenario is their upside, unfortunately.

The Wide Receivers

There is one receiver who earned himself a sizeable salary boost, if he can avoid the franchise tag, and that is George Pickens. Outside of Pickens, the middle tiers of the 2026 free agent receivers are vast and filled with varied skillsets. Here are the Top-30 free agent wide receivers:

Tier 1 is a list of one, George Pickens. It was not just when CeeDee Lamb missed time with injury, Pickens thrived in the Cowboys’ offense en route to his first top-12 fantasy season. The Cowboys have plenty of work to do on the defensive side of the ball, but the duo has formed one of the most fearsome receiver pairings in football.

Tier 2 is a group of four veterans at different points in their careers. Deebo Samuel and Mike Evans are closer to their last contract than their first, with both players still producing. Jauan Jennings nearly left the 49ers before the 2025 season after demanding a trade, so this is likely his chance to wear a new jersey in 2026. Zay Flowers is the last of this group that has improved year-over-year, and I expect he will return to Baltimore on a second contract.

Tier 3 is an interesting mix of players who have shown flashes in at least one season. Alec Pierce, Rashid Shaheed, and Wan’Dale Robinson should be priorities for their current teams, but should garner interest on the free agent market. Keenan Allen looks like he is not quite done, and I anticipate Hollywood Brown will continue his string of one-year deals into 2026. Romeo Doubs and Jalen Nailor both are best as complementary receivers; however, they could find more opportunities on their second teams.

Tier 4 & Tier 5 are a mishmash of receivers that are varied levels of sleepers from a fantasy perspective. Younger receivers that, theoretically, still have room for growth include: Jahan Dotson, Jalen Tolbert, Tyquan Thornton, and Dyami Brown. Kendrick Bourne, Olamide Zaccheaus, and Greg Dortch have had spike weeks in the past two seasons, but do not necessarily represent trade targets for dynasty.

2026 Offseason Wide Receiver Class:

• Best Available - George Pickens

• My Guy - Alec Pierce

• Sleeper - Jalen Nailor

The Tight Ends

This offseason’s crop of tight ends is better than last years’, so there’s that. To be fair, I will always be searching for tight end value as someone who enjoys stashing tight ends in dynasty (the real Baby Gronk, Adam Shaheen, anyone?). After the trip down dynasty memory lane, here are the Top-15 free agent tight ends:

Tier 1 includes four tight ends that finished inside the top-24, and three of whom finished inside the top-12 for fantasy. Travis Kelce will play for as long as he wants to as a member of the Chiefs, and I would guess Darren Waller came out of retirement exclusively for the Dolphins. David Njoku had a down year in terms of production, as he was usurped by rookie Harold Fannin; however, he still offers a big, athletic frame for a position where that is highly valued. Kyle Pitts and Dallas Goedert should garner the most lucrative tight end free agent contracts, with the latter likely remaining in Philadelphia. I could see Pitts going elsewhere, as Atlanta needs to figure out a number of roster spots, and using the franchise tag on Pitts would be head-scratching.

Tier 2 is a trio of tight ends who have been productive and are young enough to warrant longer contracts. Of this tier, Isaiah Likely is the most appealing name from a fantasy perspective. After the Ravens re-signed Mark Andrews, I would expect the Ravens to let Likley test free agency. If the coaching staff stays intact in Tampa Bay, I presume Cade Otton would re-sign as a pivotal blocker and receiver. Chig Okonkwo is an interesting name, as I don’t know that Tennessee makes him a priority re-signing, but I am equally uncertain of his value on the free agent market.

Tier 3 consists of “the old heads”. There is not much fantasy appeal with these names outside of random streaming weeks.

Tier 4 is a pair of younger tight ends who have not necessarily produced eye-popping fantasy numbers but offer their own upside. If the Eagles did indeed move on from Goedert, as they did with Ertz once upon a time, Grant Calcaterra has shown in spurts to be at least serviceable at the tight end position. For Charlie Kolar, he went to the tight end factory in Baltimore, and I was high on him coming out of Iowa State as a red zone threat, standing 6’7” tall.

• My Guy - Isaiah Likely

• Sleeper - Charlie Kolar

The 2026 NFL offseason will be here before you know it. The window to franchise/transition tag players opens February 17th, a mere nine days after the Super Bowl! So, dynasty managers would be wise to start making those roster moves now!

5 Dynasty Buys Under 25 - TE Edition

In February, I picked out five tight ends under 25 to buy in dynasty. These were not household names, but showed enough to warrant greater roles in 2025. Three of these names did not disappoint, greatly improving from their 2024 fantasy production:

• THEO JOHNSON (2024: 5.7ppg & 2025: 8.5ppg)

• BRENTON STRANGE (2024: 5.4ppg & 2025: 9.2ppg)

• A.J. BARNER (2024 : 4.6ppg & 2025: 9.1ppg)

Two of the tight ends did not see much of an improvement, but likely did not cost much before the 2025 season.

• JA’TAVION SANDERS (2024: 4.6ppg & 2025: 4.2ppg)

• BEN SINNOTT (2024: 0.7ppg & 2025: 1.7ppg)

Johnson and Strange did not enter the 2025 season with much competition in their respective tight end rooms. And with injuries and uneven play from the surrounding receivers, the pair of tight ends proved to be valuable pieces of their offenses.

Barner stepped up big in the Seahawks’ new-look offense despite the addition of the shiny new rookie Elijah Arroyo. The rookie still has tremendous upside with top-tier athleticism at a position that demands it. However, Barner proved to be a sound blocker and a big red zone target for Sam Darnold throughout 2025.

Sanders’ plateau was caused by a number of factors and may not change anytime soon. An early-season injury kept Sanders out for a few weeks, and in that time, the Panthers found their groove in the run game. Blocking is not Sanders’ strong suit, so once healthy, he was in the 50% snap share range while Tommy Tremble handled blocking duties. This is likely to limit Sanders’ upside in the offense going forward.

Sinnott was once again firmly behind Zach Ertz as the pass-catching tight end in 2025. Unfortunately, Ertz suffered a season-ending (or worse) knee injury in Week 14. This saw a bump in both Sinnott and John Bates. This could be the springboard for Sinnott to earn the coaching staff’s trust and enter the 2026 season as Washington’s TE-1.

The Takeaway: Bet on athletic tight ends with a clear path to opportunities.

The Path To RB-1

Back in June, I touted Christian McCaffrey as THE RB-1 for the 2025 NFL season. It would not be a hot take based on talent, but there was much skepticism given his injury history. As fate would have it, there was no shortage of injuries to the 49ers’ offensive weapons, but CMC was not on that list. Following Week 17, CMC did indeed finish as THE RB-1.

Other running backs considered were Bijan Robinson, Kyren Williams, and James Conner. Robinson finished with a top-12 season but was eclipsed by CMC primarily due to receptions and total touchdowns. Williams also finished in the top-12 and was an efficient back that capitalized on red zone opportunities, but the increased workload of Blake Corum certainly ate into his fantasy upside. Conner was off to a so-so start, lacking the volume that had made him so appealing in years prior. Unfortunately, Conner’s season was cut short by a gruesome ankle injury in Week 3, and the hope is that the 30-year-old running back can bounce back in 2026.

The Takeaway: Don’t get cute. Injuries happen, especially at the running back position, but don’t let it cloud your fantasy judgement.

Buy These Discount Running Backs in Dynasty

In July, I compiled a list of discounted running backs to trade for in dynasty leagues, as their values were suppressed due to rookie fever in full effect. Whether it be age, injury, and/or competition, these running backs could be had for what I deemed a reasonable trade cost. The list included: Isiah Pacheco, Brian Robinson, James Conner, Tyrone Tracy, Tony Pollard, and Javonte Williams.

Swing and a miss on Pacheco, as I thought the leg injury that hindered him in 2024 was the reason for his poor fantasy output. Robinson was on this list before his trade to the 49ers, but that risk still factors into his (and anyone’s) trade value. I have already shared my belief for James Conner in 2025 and how it blew up in my face, but especially at the running back position, that is a risk. Tracy found himself usurped by rookie Cam Skattebo before a gruesome leg injury ended the latter’s season. So Tracy found value in 2025, but I am not so certain about how sustainable it is once Skattebo returns. Pollard held Tyjae Spears off for much of the 2025 season; however, the Titans’ dreadful offense was a hindrance to fantasy points for much of the year.

Javonte Williams on this list is my pride and joy, and I also saw the 2025 season as a potential career year for the former Tarheel. Williams did not disappoint, with new head coach Brian Schottenheimer establishing the run while still feeding the Cowboys’ leading pass-catchers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. The 25-year-old running back has put the early-career knee injury behind him and appears to be capable of leading a rushing attack going forward.

The Takeaway: You never know when running back opportunities will strike. Buy the players you believe in at a cost that won’t destroy your team if/when injury strikes.

First Time Top-12 Fantasy Finishers

In July, I picked two players at each fantasy-relevant position to finish top-12 in fantasy for the first time. This list primarily includes players entering their sophomore seasons, but a few have more experience despite not yet achieving top-12 status. The list includes: Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Chase Brown, Bucky Irving, Drake London, Rashee Rice, Tucker Kraft, and Tyler Warren.

Williams and Maye both found themselves in the top-12 in 2025, with their respective offenses outperforming what many had expected. Williams was slightly ahead of passing production from 2024, but the big improvement was a trio of rushing touchdowns. Maye has improved in every facet, boosting his passing and rushing production while minimizing turnovers.

After a slow start behind a rough offensive line, Brown turned the corner and finished in the top-12 in fantasy points per game (2024 was top-12 in overall fantasy points but not points per game). Irving’s season was derailed by injury, missing Weeks 5-12. Despite this misfortune, Irving narrowly missed his first top-12 fantasy performance.

London and Rice both missed time in 2025, but for different reasons. London missed five games due to injury but still found himself in the top-12 in fantasy points per game. All of this despite an up-and-down Falcons’ offense, as well as a season-ending injury to Michael Penix. Rice missed the first six games due to a suspension and burst onto the fantasy scene to finish in the top-12. A concussion, and likely Patrick Mahomes’ season-ending injury, landed Rice on the IR and missing the final three games of the season.

Kraft served as a pivotal piece of Green Bay’s passing game, and a top-12 fantasy tight end until a Week 9 injury ended his season. Hopefully, the injury occurred early enough in the season that the 2026 season will not be hindered. Warren is the sole rookie on this list and DID find himself in the top-12 in 2025.

The Takeaway: Sample size, opportunity, and offense are the key factors that can vault a player into the top-12 for the first time.

J.J. McCarthy Is Not A Top-15 Dynasty Quarterback…Right?

I was not high on J.J. McCarthy coming out of college, and in July 2025, he was considered QB-13 via KeepTradeCut (for what that’s worth). McCarthy finished outside the top-24 in fantasy points per game in 2025, in a season marred by somewhat mysterious injuries and up-and-down fantasy performances. The “Nine” persona may help in making gritty plays, but as a whole, the Vikings’ offense should be looking for quarterback competition ahead of the 2026 season.

The Takeaway: Trust your gut when evaluating incoming rookies. You are not always right, but trust your process and improve each season.

R.J. Harvey & Brashard Smith

As my April 2025 post indicated, I am a huge fan of running backs who were converted from another position (quarterback and wide receiver). The two notable names in the 2025 rookie class that fit this description are R.J. Harvey and Brashard Smith. Harvey had the draft capital, as a second-round pick going to a Sean Payton-led offense with only J.K. Dobbins as competition. Dobbins did not disappoint, but injury shortened his season, which gave Harvey the runway to show his home run upside and pass-catching chops.

Smith had a tougher hill to climb as a seventh-round pick joining an established offense. What was working in Smith’s favor was his skillset as a pass-catching back, which was sorely lacking between Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco. Both veteran running backs are unrestricted free agents following the 2025 season, so after a promising rookie season on minimal opportunity, Smith is poised for fantasy growth in 2026.

The Takeaway: Converted running backs with appealing athletic/production profiles are worthwhile investments in dynasty rookie drafts.

DYNASTY BUY/SELL

Once the NFL season starts, the dynasty mindset can take a backseat to the redraft mindset. Each week, I will highlight two players to buy and two players to sell in dynasty, providing examples for each. As always, the trades are taken from the dynasty-daddy.com trade database.

Buy #1 - RICKY PEARSALL

In an injury-riddled sophomore season, Ricky Pearsall showed signs of fantasy life in Week 15. Brock Purdy was dealing and nearly eclipsed 100 yards for the first time since Week 3. Unfortunately for Pearsall’s 2025 season, he reaggravated a knee injury that leaves his fantasy playoff chances in doubt. But this is a dynasty buy, and with Purdy under contract and Pearsall healing up throughout the offseason, I am optimistic about Pearsall’s fantasy prospects in 2026. With doubt surrounding Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings’ place on the 49ers roster, Pearsall is poised to be a pivotal piece in this high-powered offense.

Sell #1 - KYLE PITTS

No Drake London and a seasoned Kirk Cousins is the setting for a career fantasy performance for Kyle Pitts in Week 15. Whether or not London returns, Pitts showed what can happen when he is healthy and uses his athleticism to churn yards with a meaningful target share. Oh, and be a red zone demon, scoring three touchdowns. Pitts’ 2025 season has been fairly ho-hum until this point, but Pitts is doing all he can to boost his value in a contract year. This booming Week 15 performance is certainly not sustainable, and who knows whether Pitts will remain in Atlanta in 2026? Regardless, Pitts’ athleticism will keep him fantasy-relevant for years to come, but I would take this opportunity to sell a dynasty manager on the enigma that is Kyle Pitts.

Buy #2 - COLBY PARKINSON

Okay, so I was a year too soon on the Colby Parkinson fantasy relevance. When the Rams signed Parkinson to a solid deal in free agency ahead of the 2024 season, I expected him to be the heir-apparent to Matthew Stafford’s trusted target, Tyler Higbee. While that didn’t quite happen in 2024, it seems to have hit in 2025 despite the drafting of the uber-athletic Terrance Ferguson. Parkinson is a solid blocker and boasts a big frame to serve as a tantalising red zone option. I do expect Ferguson to be brought along as he was considered a more raw tight end prospect, but Parkinson has shown his value as an all-around tight end that warrants snaps.

Sell #2 - TYRONE TRACY

I am forever a sucker for a converted receiver-turned-running back, and that includes Tyrone Tracy. Week 15 saw Tracy put up his best fantasy performance of 2025, with two touchdowns against the division-rival Commanders. As it pains me to say, Tracy’s value is limited to 2025, as a healthy Cam Skattebo would likely bump the former to a complementary option. Selling Tracy now is taking advantage of a big Week 15 performance and getting ahead of the dip in value come Week 1 of the 2026 season. Tracy could very well help a fellow dynasty manager for the rest of the 2025 fantasy playoffs, but now is the time to sell.

• Trade #1: Tyrone Tracy + Jordan Whittington + ‘27 3rd ←→ J.K. Dobbins + ‘27 2nd

• Trade #2: Tyrone Tracy ←→ ‘26 3rd + ‘27 4th

HANDCUFF HIERARCHY

The running back position can be one of frustration in fantasy as we scour the bench and waiver wire to fill in when injuries and bye weeks strike. But since we are just now getting started with the NFL season, here is a look at the various tiers for all 32 backup running backs. As the season progresses, we will see players rise and fall amongst the tiers, so stay tuned!

*This list only includes each team’s RB-2; thus, if the RB-1 is injured, then the RB-3 will take the place of the RB-2 on this list.

STANDALONE VALUE

These players have flex appeal even with the RB-1 being healthy in Week 16.

• David Montgomery continues to play second-fiddle to Jahmyr Gibbs, but the former offers weekly touchdown upside.

• Jordan Mason, Emari Demercado and Rhamondre Stevenson have seen their playtime fluctuate due to injury and game flow, but they remain threats to put up a double-digit fantasy performance. The likelihood, however, is minimal as their respective rushing attacks are nothing to write home about.

• Kyle Monangai, Chuba Hubbard, and Kenneth Gainwell continue to get a near-even split of their team’s backfield snaps, with varied weekly results. Monangai and Hubbard do the bulk of their damage on the ground, while Gainwell does a bit of everything as a premier flex option.

• Rachaad White, Tyler Allgeier, Kimani Vidal, and Blake Corum are working squarely behind their respective RB-1s, but each of the four backs has had their weeks to shine. Corum is particularly interesting as the Rams’ backfield alternates drives.

SPOT STARTER

The initial RB-1 is injured, and everyone moves up the depth chart, or the player has a specific role.

• None of the above options gets enough touches or is not productive enough to confidently plug into starting fantasy lineups in the fantasy playoffs, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

• Zach Charbonnet has weekly touchdown upside in what is an underwhelming Seattle rushing attack.

• Jacory Croskey-Merritt filled in well for the injured Chris Rodriguez; however, I am assuming C-Rod returns in Week 16. JCM’s value is limited to supplementing what Rodriguez does instead of eating into what Jeremy McNichols does as a compliment.

• In recent weeks, Tony Pollard has flashed big production in losing efforts, which has eaten into Tyjae Spears’ touches.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

If you are in a DEEP league, these are the rest of the bunch that you’re forced to pick from for Week 16.

• This group is completely overshadowed by a bellcow back or limited by a woeful offense.

TIGHT END STREAMERS

Of all the fantasy-relevant positions, it’s the tight end that is my favorite to stream. If you were not fortunate enough to get one of the top few tight ends, it can be a futile process to find fantasy points at the tight end position. Here are three tight ends ranked outside the top 12 who are stream-worthy in Week 16.

A Look Back At Week 14 (If Top-12 ✅)

• Theo Johnson → 2.9 points ❌

• Hunter Henry → 15.8 points ❌

• Juwan Johnson → 12.2 points ❌

Week 15

ORONDE GADSDEN v. DAL

Since his trio of consecutive top-12 fantasy performances beginning in Week 7, Oronde Gadsden has primarily been outside of the top-20. Gadsden’s snap share has dipped over the past few weeks; however, Week 15 was somewhat of a resurgence, finishing as the TE-15. Week 16 offers a good opportunity for Gadsden to climb back into the top-12, which would likely require him pulling down his third touchdown on the season. Dalton Kincaid is a prime example of a player who can maximize fantasy production despite a near 50% snap share, but Gadsden is still searching for consistency in his rookie year.

JAKE FERGUSON v. LAC

Now we go to Gadsden’s opposing tight end in Week 16, Jake Ferguson. Since the Cowboys’ receiving corps has returned to full strength, Ferguson’s touchdowns have all but evaporated. Fortunately for Ferguson, he plays in a pass-heavy offense that normally gets him sixxxxxxx-to-sevennnnnnn targets, save for Week 15. The matchup against the Chargers is not necessarily a fantasy-friendly one for tight ends, but I am looking for a bounce-back performance for Ferguson as the Cowboys hang on to their incredibly slim playoff chances.

MARK ANDREWS v. NE

It is anyone’s guess when Mark Andrews is going to have a good week in fantasy, as this Ravens’ offense has not been as productive as in seasons past. Week 16 could be that good fantasy week for Andrews, as the Ravens host the Patriots, the latter of whom just gave up two touchdowns to Dawson Knox. Andrews is not the tight end to produce in fantasy because of target volume, so I am left to wishcast at least one touchdown in Week 16. As my hit rate has told me through the 2025 season, these types of decisions are essentially coin flips, so tails never fails!

DYNASTY BUY/SELL

Once the NFL season starts, the dynasty mindset can take a backseat to the redraft mindset. Each week, I will highlight two players to buy and two players to sell in dynasty, providing examples for each. As always, the trades are taken from the dynasty-daddy.com trade database.

Buy #1 - KIMANI VIDAL

Week 14 was Omarion Hampton’s long-awaited return, and Kimani Vidal was still very much involved. In Hampton’s absence, Vidal put up four 20+ fantasy point performances. The remainder of the 2025 season should offer plenty of opportunities for Vidal to show his ability to sustain a heavy workload when needed. Vidal is a free agent following the 2025 season, so wherever he ends up, it should be on a contract that makes him fantasy relevant in 2026.

• Trade #2: Kimani Vidal & Michael Wilson ←→ Jaylin Noel + ‘27 3rd

Sell #1 - TYLER SHOUGH

I was not high on Tyler Shough heading into the 2025 season, due to his college evaluation and the situation he was entering in the NFL. Shough took the reins, with his first start in Week 9, and is likely to finish the season as the Saints’ starting quarterback. Understandably, there have been ups and downs, but a bright spot has been his willingness to push the ball downfield and utilize his legs. The Saints invested a second-round pick in Shough, so he should at least compete to be the starter in 2026. Even if that is the case, Shough is not someone I am clamoring for on my dynasty rosters.

Buy #2 - BRENTON STRANGE

Brenton Strange missed Weeks 6-11 with injury, and since Week 12, he has settled back into his early-season role as a reliable target able to churn out yards on five targets per game. Several pass-catchers in Jacksonville limit Strange’s upside, but he is on the upper end of a middling tier of tight ends that have fantasy value for different reasons. There is a clear connection with Trevor Lawrence, and at the most streamable position, Strange has weekly upside barring a stingy matchup. I am buying Strange in dynasty as a weekly startable option that is not touchdown dependent, with upside when the surrounding pass catchers are injured.

• Trade #2: Brenton Strange + Chris Olave ←→ Emeka Egbuka

Sell #2 - JERRY JEUDY

It has been a largely forgettable 2025 season for Jerry Jeudy, with only three double-digit fantasy performances via the carousel of Browns’ quarterbacks. With Shedeur Sanders under center, Jeudy was able to pull down his second touchdown of the year. That may entice someone enough to think they are buying low in Jeudy, but I am not so optimistic that the quarterback situation has been resolved in Cleveland. Jeudy is under contract through the 2027 season, albeit with an out following the 2026 season. As Jeudy enters what should be the prime of his career, it is difficult to get excited for the former first-round pick in dynasty.

• Trade #2: Jerry Jeudy + Rome Odunze + Cam Ward ←→ Jaxson Dart + Woody Marks + Adonai Mitchell

HANDCUFF HIERARCHY

The running back position can be one of frustration in fantasy as we scour the bench and waiver wire to fill in when injuries and bye weeks strike. But since we are just now getting started with the NFL season, here is a look at the various tiers for all 32 backup running backs. As the season progresses, we will see players rise and fall amongst the tiers, so stay tuned!

*This list only includes each team’s RB-2; thus, if the RB-1 is injured, then the RB-3 will take the place of the RB-2 on this list.

STANDALONE VALUE

These players have flex appeal even with the RB-1 being healthy in Week 15.

• David Montgomery and Zach Charbonnet continue to play second-fiddle to Jahmyr Gibbs and Kenneth Walker, respectively, but the former duo offer weekly touchdown upside. Somewhat surprisingly, Gibbs has gotten more short-yardage touches than in prior years.

• Kyle Monangai, Tyjae Spears, Chuba Hubbard, and Kenneth Gainwell continue to get a near-even split of their team’s backfield snaps, with varied weekly results. Monangai and Hubbard do the bulk of their damage on the ground, while Spears and Gainwell have more of their value come from their pass-catching upside.

• Tyler Allgeier, Kimani Vidal, and Blake Corum are working squarely behind their respective RB-1s, but each of the three backs has had their weeks to shine. Despite the return of Omarion Hampton, Vidal showed big-play upside in Week 14 that should continue going forward.

• Rhamondre Stevenson and Jordan Mason have seen their playtime fluctuate due to injury and game flow, but they remain threats to put up a double-digit fantasy performance. Despite TreVeyon Henderson’s home run play upside, the Patriots refuse to diminish Stevenson’s role too much.

SPOT STARTER

The initial RB-1 is injured, and everyone moves up the depth chart, or the player has a specific role.

• Jaylen Wright and Devin Singletary stepped up big for De’Von Achane and Tyrone Tracy, respectively, in Week 14. Both Achane and Tracy should be back for Week 15, and I would still expect Singletary to be more heavily involved than Wright.

• Dylan Sampson, Michael Carter, and Ty Johnson offer steady PPR presences in their backfields. With no certainty that Trey Benson will return, I expect Carter’s role to remain steady, yet volatile.

• Isiah Pacheco and Brian Robinson both play in strong offenses. Pacheco has lost the starting role throughout the season to plodding veteran Kareem Hunt. While Robinson has been minimally used with the RB King, Christian McCaffrey has been reigning supreme.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

If you are in a DEEP league, these are the rest of the bunch that you’re forced to pick from for Week 15.

• This group is completely overshadowed by a bellcow back or limited by a woeful offense.

TIGHT END STREAMERS

Of all the fantasy-relevant positions, it’s the tight end that is my favorite to stream. If you were not fortunate enough to get one of the top few tight ends, it can be a futile process to find fantasy points at the tight end position. Here are three tight ends ranked outside the top 12 who are stream-worthy in Week 15.

A Look Back At Week 14 (If Top-12 ✅)

• Darren Waller → 2.9 points ❌

• Dallas Goedert → 15.8 points ✅

• Colby Parkinson → 12.2 points ✅

Week 15

THEO JOHNSON v. WAS

The Giants are coming out of their Week 14 bye, and the matchup could not get much better. A division rival means anything could happen, but as far as defense is concerned, I am not expecting much from the Commanders. Further, Jaxson Dart is back in full form, and Johnson has served as a favorite target amidst a slew of injuries to the Giants’ pass catchers. Johnson has a real chance to slip into the top-12 in Week 15 without a touchdown, but he could still add to his five thus far.

HUNTER HENRY v. BUF

Hunter Henry had a brief cooling-off period after a hot start to the season, but he has settled in as a favorite target of sophomore quarterback Drake Maye. With the rushing attack leaving much to be desired, the passing volume allows Henry to carve out a consistent role. The first meeting between these two teams was not one to write home about for Henry, but the stakes could not be higher as these division rivals battle for supremacy in the AFC East. While the matchup is not a slam dunk, it is good enough for Henry to get his 6+ targets and creep into the back end of the top-12 for Week 15.

JUWAN JOHNSON v. CAR

The Saints trading away Rashid Shaheed meant more targets for both Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson. The emergence of Devaughn Vele in recent weeks has thrown a slight wrench into these plans, but given the weakness of the Panthers’ linebackers, I expect Johnson to be busy in Week 15. There are only so many reliable weapons left on this Saints offense, and Johnson is one of them. With seven top-12 fantasy finishes already, it would be no surprise to see Johnson make it eight in Week 15.

Buy #1 - A.J. BROWN

A.J. Brown is quietly on track for yet another top-12 fantasy season. Okay, maybe quiet is not how to describe Brown’s 2025 season. Regardless, Brown continues to turn his superstar blend of size and athleticism into yards and touchdowns. As his age-28 season comes to a close, there is reason to be concerned about how much longer he will perform at this level. I am a sucker for receivers perceived to be on the back end of their prime. Some dynasty managers may be willing to move on from Brown due to his up-and-down 2025 season and his approach to the proverbial fantasy cliff. Whether he remains in the Eagles’ offense or goes elsewhere, I trust Brown to continue to be an incredibly efficient receiver with weekly touchdown upside for at least another two seasons.

• Trade #1: A.J. Brown + D’Andre Swift ←→ Rome Odunze

• Trade #2: A.J. Brown ←→ D.K. Metcalf + Kyle Monangai

Sell #1 - C.J. STROUD

It has been a season to forget for C.J. Stroud in 2025. Outside of Week 5, where he finished as the QB-1, Stroud had three top-15 fantasy weeks and the rest outside of the top-20. And yes, there have been three games missed with a concussion, while veteran Davis Mills handled the offense incredibly well. This is not to say the Texans are better off with Mills, but it does highlight that Stroud still has plenty of growth and consistency before he recaptures the dynasty glow from his rookie season. This is not selling Stroud’s high, but I do think there is an opportunity to trade Stroud now that he is back healthy.

• Trade #1: C.J. Stroud ←→ Kyler Murray + ‘26 1st

• Trade #2: C.J. Stroud + ‘26 1st + Ja’Tavion Sanders ←→ Jayden Daniels + ‘26 3rd

Buy #2 - CHRISTIAN WATSON

Christian Watson’s career thus far has been marred by injury, including a knee injury that happened in January and spilled into the first half of the 2025 season. The criticism of the Packers’ offense is that there is no true number one receiver. I would agree with the sentiment, but the closest thing they have is Christian Watson. Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and, when healthy, Jayden Reed can have their weeks. But Watson is that big, fast, deep-ball threat that can take the top off a defense. Watson got a one-year contract extension that ends after the 2026 season, but with a healthy finish in 2025 could mean he sticks around in Green Bay. And while the production may seem volatile, there is value in fantasy in a receiver like Watson who can be acquired at a reasonable cost and has week-winning upside.

• Trade #1: Christian Watson + Rico Dowdle ←→ Kyle Monangai + Chris Godwin + ‘26 4th

• Trade #2: Christian Watson ←→ Elic Ayomanor + ‘26 3rd

Sell #2 - BLAKE CORUM

Blake Corum’s real upside stems from the absence of Kyren Williams. No matter how Sean McVay says that he wants Corum involved, a healthy Kyren Williams will mean that Corum only slides into the top-36 of running backs twice (Week 2: RB-27 & Week 9: RB-36). The reason why I put him as a sell this week is that Corum has his best fantasy finish of the year (RB-18), where he was able to fill in for an injured Williams and finish off a red zone carry. For me, I am not looking to hold onto too many handcuff running backs in dynasty. This is especially true for Corum, where we saw Williams get resigned ahead of the 2025 season and continue to be relied upon heavily. There are plenty of Corum fans out there who would kick the tires on him in dynasty, and trading him after a big week is your best bet.

• Trade #1: Blake Corum ←→ ‘26 2nd

• Trade #2: Blake Corum ←→ Devin Neal + ‘26 3rd

DARREN WALLER (TE-14) v. NYJ

Darren Waller has returned from injury and has a high-end matchup against the Jets in Week 14. It was in Waller’s first game of 2025 back in Week 4 against the Jets that he caught two touchdowns on route to a fantasy finish as the TE-4. Multiple touchdowns are not an easy ask, but a couple of catches and a touchdown get Waller inside the top-12 for Week 14.

DALLAS GOEDERT (TE-15) v. LAC

The schedule could not be much better for Dallas Goedert as we inch closer to the fantasy playoffs, starting with the Chargers in Week 14. The passing volume in recent weeks has been diverted to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Further, Goedert’s seven touchdowns through the first eight weeks dwarf his zero since then. While the fantasy points have not come for Goedert, his snap share has not waned, and I trust him to get back on track in Week 14.

COLBY PARKINSON (TE-25) v. ARI

This may be my personal bias, but I was beating the fantasy drum for Colby Parkinson when he signed with the Rams ahead of the 2024 season. The big-bodied tight end was supposed to step in for the then-injured Tyler Higbee. I guess I was just one season too soon, as Parkinson is stepping in for a now-injured Tyler Higbee, despite the draft selection of the uber-athletic Terrance Ferguson. In the last four weeks, Parkinson has pulled down three touchdowns. And Parkinson will continue to have weekly touchdown upside with a favorable rest of the season.

Buy #1 - JOHN METCHIE

After failing to make a mark in a crowded Philadelphia wide receiver room, John Metchie has done well through two starts with the Jets. The absence of Garrett Wilson most definitely affects Metchie’s opportunity, but his production is not a farce. With the Jets starting Tyrod Taylor to evaluate the rest of the offensive talent, Metchie posted two top-20 fantasy performances in Weeks 11 and 12, buoyed by a touchdown in each week. After a long journey for Metchie, both on and off the field, he finds himself in a receiver room rife with opportunity. Metchie offers a reliable receiving option as the Jets rebuild their offense, as well as their entire roster.

• Trade #2: John Metchie ←→ Jaylen Wright

Sell #1 - JACORY CROSKEY-MERRITT

There is plenty I have been wrong on, but I have Jacory Croskey-Merritt as the first repeat “sell” in this series, following my initial proposal in Week 1. JCM offers upside as a shifty runner that can get to the second level and break off big runs. After the trade of Brian Robinson to the 49ers, the expectation by some was that the rookie heart-throb would grab hold of the backfield. Unfortunately, even following a season-ending injury to Austin Ekeler, JCM still could not exceed his role as a runner exclusively. As the season has progressed, Chris Rodriguez has taken on a decent role, and Jeremy McNichols is firmly entrenched as the satellite back. JCM has a future, but I am not sure it is as rosy as optimists believed earlier this season.

• Trade #1: Jacory Croskey-Merritt ←→ J.K. Dobbins

• Trade #2: Jacory Croskey-Merritt + ‘26 4th ←→ Luther Burden

Buy #2 - EMANUEL WILSON

Fortunately, I started Emanuel Wilson in multiple redraft leagues, but he offers great upside as a high-end backup that can handle the workload vacated by the injured Josh Jacobs. Since joining the Packers, Jacobs has not missed much time, and MarShawn Lloyd may finally be getting healthy. So even if the Packers decide to go with Lloyd as Jacob’s backup, Wilson is a restricted free agent after the 2025 season. The Packers at least have the first opportunity to retain Wilson, which would indicate their willingness to involve Wilson as much as possible. But if Wilson were to hit free agency, I firmly believe he would have the market that would allow him to be a leader in a committee.

Sell #2 - KEON COLEMAN

After finishing as the WR-2 in Week 1, it has not been smooth sailing for Keon Coleman in his sophomore season. The Bills have been looking for an outside receiver, and I’m afraid Coleman may not be the answer. After an up-and-down season, culminating in a healthy scratch in Weeks 11 and 12, Coleman appears to have fallen out of favor in Buffalo. I did not quite understand the early second-round draft capital by the Bills in 2024, and dynasty managers would be wise to sell Coleman for what they can. As a young receiver, Coleman may still retain value in some managers’ eyes, but I fear the project may not pan out as hoped.

• Trade #2: Keon Coleman + ‘26 2nd ←→ Michael Pittman +’26 4th

JUWAN JOHNSON (TE-13) v. MIA

The Saints are throwing to Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson, so as long as the latter is ranked outside the top-12 I will be picking him here. Johnson has seven top-12 finishes on the season, and in only three of those has it taken a touchdown to put him over the top. And in Week 13, there is reason for optimism with the Saints going up against the Dolphins’ woeful defense.

BRENTON STRANGE (TE-14) v. TEN

Brenton Strange returned from an IR stint and posted his best fantasy performance in Week 12. The Jaguars’ offense has been a rollercoaster in 2025, but Strange is a pass-catcher that I trust going forward. The Titans have been a so-so matchup to opposing tight ends; however, they have not given up a touchdown to the position for many weeks. Similar to Juwan Johnson, I trust Strange to garner enough targets, but what separates him is his ability to churn out yards after the catch. It will be close, but it appears that Strange’s injury is behind him, and the Jaguars’ offense needs him.

HAROLD FANNIN (TE-17) v. SF

Harold Fannin is no stranger to this list, but I am hoping he can get his fifth top-12 fantasy finish of his rookie season. Shedeur Sanders is set to make his second start, and he does so against a battered 49ers defense that had an easy matchup in Week 12 against the reeling Panthers. Before Week 12, the 49ers have given up multiple touchdowns to tight ends, and that has me optimistic about Fannin’s chances of catching his third touchdown in Week 13.
